Parent Information
We’re here to make it easier for you and your child when enrolling into childcare. All the information parents will need is available on this page and in our compact Parent Handbook PDF.
Orientation Visits
We encourage you and your child to come and spend as much time in the centre as you like before starting care. Initially, we would prefer you to make an appointment to ensure that you have enough time to spend getting to know you and your child. Any further visits can be coordinated with the educators in the room and particularly your child’s primary caregiver.
The learning of all children begins even before birth. Studies have shown that new born children recognise and respond to the sound of their parent’s voices over that of strangers. Children learn through play and are individuals – growing and developing competencies at their own pace.
We use the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) to ensure that we meet all of these aspects of your child’s development.
We provide developmentally appropriate experiences that initially support your child’s physical development and, as they gain mastery of their body, more experiences are introduced until they are able to take part in our preschool program.
Indoor and outdoor play experiences are an integral part of our program. Play is central to children’s development and we provide opportunities for both structured and spontaneous activities.
